Awards : 1994 - 2014

  • Special President Award of People’s Republic of Bangladesh in 1994 for Developing Valuable Co-curricular Subjects and Awareness based Materials for Adult Education.
  • Gold Medal of the Prime Minister of Bangladesh in 2003 for the contribution in the Development of Fisheries Sector.
  • Best Practitioner’s Award in Microfinance from the Prime Minister of Bangladesh in 2006.
  • Forbes Magazine rated Jagorani Chakra Foundation as 16th micro finance service providing organisation in the world and 2nd in Bangladesh in 2007.
  • The Yuvabadhana Foundation, Thailand awarded 24 children in 2008 that have come from poor community of Jessore for their performance in ‘A World United through Art’ Competition. A total of 500 schools from 34 countries participated in the competition.
  •  In 2009 JCF received a Gold Medal on Micro Finance from Mother Teresa Research Council.
  • JCF received the CITI Foundation Award as the best Microfinance Institute of Bangladesh in the year of 2010.
  • A JCF member named Jeenath Sultana Sriti received the best micro entrepreneur award from Prime Minister of Bangladesh for the year of 2012.
