Higher Education and Scholarship

JCF staff had taken a unique initiative few years back to contribute from their monthly salary and generate an education fund which is named after Professor Sharif Hossain, who was a renowned educationist and the founder chairman of JCF. All staff of JCF donated 1% of their monthly salary and accumulated Tk. 26,747,219. This fund is being used to provide scholarships to the poor meritorious students from graduation level to highest level of education in the country. This is known as Professor Sharif Hossain Education Fund.  A total of 33 students are now receiving this scholarship and 96 students have completed their education.

JCF has also taken initiative to provide ‘MRAMFI’ in 2020 for the children of its poor Microfinance Programme members. A total of 11 students are now receiving this scholarship and 02 students have completed their education.
