Sustainable Livelihood

Presently implementing 12 projects in 12 Districts, 53 Sub-districts and 336 UPs with 160,987 beneficiaries and of them more than 80% are women. JCF has been successful to promote 54 CBOs (545 groups with more than 20,000 women members) organized into a Federation Titled JOYOTI SOCIETY and another federation titled AAMRA JOIE society of 33 CBOs (268 groups and 7062 families) functioning as independent organization in Jessore & Chuadanga respectively. The Prime Minister’s Gold Medal in 2003 for Fisheries Sector Development was awarded to JCF. The major activities performed under this sector are:
