Zillur Rahman Akunji is an agricultural equipment seller, doing his business in Shahpur GC of Dumuria upazila under Khulna district. He started seed business with capital of one lakh taka in the beginning. His average daily earning was about two thousand taka. A few days later, he joined the Feed the Future Bangladesh Nutrition Activity Project and participated in Agro-input marketing and business, networking & Agro-input business development, record keeping and financial management training. He purchased materials directly from the company through linkage with different companies. He contacted MFI and took a loan to increase his business. He used to sell improved varieties of crop seeds and after the training created a Facebook group for e-business. At present, his sales have increased and total capital is worth of about five lakh takas. Now his average daily earning is about Tk. 7/8 thousand. He dreams of expanding his business and serving customers in the area so that he can gain a reputation. Because of his good performance he was selected as a model vendor of Feed the Future Bangladesh Nutrition Activity. He had the desire to remove the malnutrition situation in his areas. Now he provided embedded service to all his customers, he told them about nutrition, seed germination as well as how to use modern technology in agriculture. He added fertilizer to his business
