
Sustaining Education for Rohingya Refugee Children in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh (SC-JPF)
Goal/Objectives
JCF, under the JPF Project–initiative, is implementing a comprehensive education program in Ukhiya and Teknaf Upazilas of Cox’s Bazar District. The program targets 6,630 Rohingya children and youth aged 3–18 years through 270 learning facilities.
This initiative is designed to provide inclusive, quality educational support and to equip learners with the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to build a more resilient and hopeful future, despite the challenging conditions of life in 08 refugee camps.



Major Component/Activities
- Improved access to learning opportunities in a safe and protective environment, quality learning opportunities for girls and boys (aged 3-18)
- Girls and boys access learning environments with WASH (pure drinking water, segregated toilets and hand-washing stations) facilities
- Monthly refresher sessions are conducted to strengthen facilitators’ teaching skills and enhance instructional quality. During this quarter, one refresher session was conducted, with a total of 331 facilitators participating out of 337, all are female facilitators. (i) Program Organizer Recruitment: Program Organizer (PO) Recruitment held at JCF Office in Cox’s Bazar on 20 May’2026. (ii) Facilitator Recruitment Exams: Replace Rohingya Teaching Volunteer (RTV) recruitment held at Camp- 10, 19 & 21 on 16 April’ 2026, 04 June’ 2026 & 17 June’ 2026
