Goal/Objectives
Overall Objective of the program is to enhance food and nutrition security of small holder farmers and landless workers in the delta region of Bangladesh with focus on developing resilient livelihoods.
Major Component/Activities
- Develop farmers’ capacity on farm business planning
- Scale adoption of proven sustainable farming practices
- Capacity building on climate smart sustainable agriculture framework (Aquaculture, Horticulture, Soy and Dairy)
- Capacity building of local market actors on food safety and post-harvest management
- Organize farmers’ clusters and governance mechanism to collectively source agro inputs and market for their farm produces
- Knowledge building on nutrition, dietary diversity, sexual & reproductive health & rights (SRHR), Infant & young child feeding (IYCF), health & hygiene
