The Executive Vice Chairman of Microcredit Regulatory Authority (MRA) Mr. Md. Fashiullah inaugurated the construction work of ten storied training centre of JCF at Jashore on 21^st March 2021. The training centre will provide international standard lodging and 200-seated multipurpose hall for the participant, which will fulfil the long-time demand of the residents of south-western Bangladesh. The senior management staff of JCF and some Directors of MRA were also present in the event. Later Mr. Fashiullah visited the head office of JCF and had a discussion there after a short presentation of the organisation. He informed that the piloting work of Credit Information Bureau (CIB) is going on in 50 leading MFIs, which will check overlapping, authenticity of borrowers’ NID etc. He also added that Digital Financing Services will be implemented in MFIs in order to deliver the service in a cheaper rate at field level and MRA will contact with the existing service providing agencies for that. MRA will also publicise the work of MFIs at different Government offices so that a coordinated work is ensured.
