জাগরণের ৫০ বছর
Jagorani Chakra Foundation celebrated it’s 50th anniversary with day-long programs in a festive atmosphere on Wednesday, 07 January 2026, at it’s head office in Jashore.
The celebration, titled in Bengle “জাগরণের ৫০ বছর”, began with a rally attended by over 500 participants from inaugurated by Jashore Superintendent of Police Mr. Syed Rafikul Islam.
The opening ceremony was presided over by the Foundation’s President, Professor Khandker Kamrul Islam, while the welcome address was delivered by the Founder and Executive Director of JCF Mr. Azadul Kabir Arzoo.
Key events included the hoisting of the national flag, release of pigeons and balloons, art camp with renowned and emerging artists, storytelling sessions for children, and screening of a documentary on the organization’s 50 year journey.
In the afternoon gathering distinguished guests, artists, long-serving staff members, and beneficiaries received crest and certificate. The chief guest was Poet Rezauddin Ahmed Stalin, Director General of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy.
The celebration concluded in the evening with cultural performances and fireworks.
