2000 households/families (more than 8000 marginalised people) in Bagerhat districts earn climate-resilient income, manage climate-related risks, access rights and public services and influence policies that affect their lives from local to national levels
Major Component/Activities
- Capacity building for programme participants at local level: Training on climate-resilient and sustainable farming systems, Vocational training measures, Training in disaster management and climate risk preparedness etc.
- Transfer of productive assets and income generation
- Emergency health support and support on productive asset loss
- Establishment of a savings programme and Savings management
- Volunteer training, Wash health related awareness and training
- CSO establishment and Documentation of advocacy issues with CSOs
- Awareness raising in local educational institutions
