Goal/Objectives
Disadvantaged girls and boys (6 to 11 years old) in urban informal settlements in Sylhet City can successfully continue their learning in a protective, inclusive and crisis-resilient environment
Major Component/Activities
Support ultra-poor girls and boys to reduce the learning gap through Catch up Club (CuC) by developing CuC lesson plans for each grade and arrange basic and refreshers training for CuC learning facilitators.
Set up & operate CuC center at the catchment of Primary School.
Organize quarterly awareness sessions on safe return to school, gender, social-emotional learning, and the importance of education.
Conduct Positive Parenting training for parents/caregivers.
Provide Child Protection kits, psychological counselling services to children and parents as per their needs.
Provide stipends to the most vulnerable girls who may face obstacles in continuing their education activities in the next grade.
