On November 20, 2024, the Executive Vice Chairman of Microcredit Regulatory Authority (MRA), Professor Dr. Mohammed Helal Uddin, visited the waterlogged areas of Bhabadah and held a meeting with the beneficiaries of microfinance institutions in Bhabadah area at the Jagarani Chakra Foundation (JCF), Jessore-2 Zone Office.

Ms. Marina Akther, Deputy Executive Director of JCF was present as the Chairperson. Director (MFP) of JCF, Azizul Haque moderated the meeting. Among others there were RRF Executive Director, AD-din Foundation Director. MRA Director (License, Regulation, Policy & Law Department) and Assistant Director (PS EVC), Shishu Niloy Foundation Director (MFP), ARS Bangladesh Director (MFP) and JCF Jessore-2 Zonal Manager in the event. The participants in the meeting expressed their views on various problems and expected cooperation for a permanent solution to the waterlogging of Bhabadah.
