The Farmers of SaFaL are Restarting Afresh

In the month of November’21 the farmers of SaFaL project were successful in exporting 1070 Kg pointed gourd, 3580 Kg papaya, 250 Pcs Bottle gourd and 500 Kg green banana from Palashi under Monirampur upozila and Vagolpur under Jashore sador upozila. A total of 21 farmers of Palashi under Monirampur and 6 farmers of Vagolpur under Jashore Sador accumulated their produces. The farmers managed 3 -4 TK more per kg than existing market price through linkage with the vegetable exporters. The exporters are RR enterprise, Bhuyian enterprise, Tapon enterprise and Harun enterprise who have purchased vegetable for export to England, Germany and Italy. The staff of SaFaL were relentless in reviving the vibrant economy of project farmers like before the unwanted breaks caused by pandemic COVID-19.
